This workshop is open to all levels from beginners to experienced artists.

Increase your ability to see, analyze, and create with color, through a series of fun challenges accessing 220 colors. Hone an understanding of color relationships, including illusions of transparency and light, that free you to compose dynamic color compositions in any medium.

Materials provided but color aid packs will be available for purchase at the studio -

Please bring a device to capture your color insights and discoveries, as we will be composing, then shifting and recomposing colors.

Claire Campbell Park is an internationally recognized artist, lecturer, and author. She has taught color to literally thousands of diverse creatives.

Exhibits include: the museum-wide centennial exhibition Made in California 1900-2000, LACMA; The International Textile Competition, Kyoto; EXPO Chicago, and recent solo exhibitions with Goya Contemporary. Permanent collections include: Szombathely Kunsthalle, Hungary; Tucson Museum of Art; and the Museum of Arts and Design, New York.

Lecture venues include: the Louvre, Paris; the World Textile Conference, Kyoto; Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, India; the Center for Middle East Studies, University of Arizona; the East/West Center, Manoa; the University of South Australia, and ongoing fortnightly lectures at Canyon Ranch, Tucson.

Her book Creating with Reverence: Art, Diversity, Culture and Soul is used by art appreciators and creatives of all sorts as well as in Studio Art, Fashion, Anthropology and Religious Studies courses. Claire's articles are downloaded on a monthly basis throughout the world.
